Lukhmi is a typical mince savoury or stater of the fabled cuisine of Hyderabad, India. The word comes from loqma or morsel.The snack's authentic preparation is stuffed with mutton-mince (kheema). Its a royal non-veg derivated of samosa, is also like a flat square patty, but differs in stuffing.


Mince meat (Kheema),flour and yogurt.


Prepare the dough in yogurt, mixing it thoroughly until it becomes very smooth, and after that minced meat is stuffed.

Kheemey ki Lukhmi, as it is called, is still served as a starter in the authentic Hyderabadi course of meal at weddings, parties, etc., 2003-2005. All Rights Reserved.
